For the benefit year 2025-26, the CCB has been increased by 2.7%, ensuring families get stronger support against inflation. This tax free monthly benefit CCB is tailored specifically for each household individually based on their income, number of children, age of children, and disability eligibility.
What is the Maximum CCB Payments for 2025-26?
Family who have an Adjusted Family Net Income (AFNI) below CAD 37,487, only qualify for the maximum CCB benefit and above this threshold, based on the increasing AFNI the benefit payments are gradually reduced (based on income and number of children)
- For children under 6 years: Up to CAD 666.41 per month (CAD 7,996.92 annually)
- For children aged between 6 - 17 years: Up to CAD 562.33 per month (CAD 6,747.96 annually)
- Child Disability Benefit: Up to CAD 284.25 per month (CAD 3,411 annually)
Provincial and Territorial CCB Top-Ups 2025-26
Along with the federal government CCB benefits, several provinces in Canada also offer additional monthly support such as:
- British Columbia: Up to CAD 133.33 per child
- Ontario: Up to CAD 149.33 per child
- Atlantic Provinces (NB, NS, PEI, NL): Up to CAD 100 per child
- Northern Territories (Yukon, NWT, Nunavut): Up to CAD 300 per child
