Newfoundland and Labrador has issued more provincial immigration invitations to eligible candidates. Invitations were sent out through the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program and Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP). This round of selections showcases the province’s fourth selection round since shifting to an Expression of Interest (EOI) process for both of these programs.
Newfoundland and Labrador PNP Draw Results
On June 24, 2025, the province held two draws, which are
- NLPNP: 257 invitations
- AIP: 63 invitations
In its previous selection rounds, Newfoundland and Labrador invited across both programs:
- 405 candidates on May 29;
- 328 candidates on May 8; and
- 256 candidates on April 3.
What is the Focus of June 24 Draw?
For this round of invitations, priority was given to candidates with full-time job offers in occupations that are in demand, especially to applicants who already lived in the province or were offered a job in underserved and rural communities. All these choices are aimed at encouraging regional retention and economic growth throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.

Newfoundland and Labrador’s Expression of Interest (EOI) System
The province recently announced the new EOI system, required by all the economic streams of NLPNP and AIP, on February 19, 2025. Such characteristics are:
Submission Process:
All applicants must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) through the province’s Immigration Accelerator Platform.
Invitation Requirements:
- Non-Canadian applicants applying through the NLPNP or AIP must receive an employer-provided invite code from a Newfoundland and Labrador employer.
- Applicants already in Canada with valid temporary status (e.g., work permit, study permit) do not need an invite code.
EOI Validity & Processing:
- An EOI remains valid for one year from the date of submission.
- Shortlisted candidates receive 60 days to complete and submit their full application.
Other Important Considerations:
- Receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) does not guarantee approval; applicants must still meet all program eligibility and admissibility requirements.
Newfoundland and Labrador's latest immigration draws reflect the province’s commitment to targeted economic growth and regional renewal.
By prioritising candidates with in-demand job offers, particularly those already contributing to local communities or filling labour gaps in underserved and rural areas, the province ensures that immigration aligns with its long-term development goals.
