International Education Stream (IES)
The International Education Stream draw focused on graduates with strong family connections in Manitoba.
Invitations Issued:
- 478 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) were issued under the IES.
- Candidates had to meet all IES eligibility requirements and declare a Manitoba supporter who is a close relative.
Manitoba Supporter Requirements:
- The supporter must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident living in Manitoba for at least one year.
- The supporter should be a close relative of the candidate or their spouse.
Accepted Family Relationships:
To qualify as a close relative, the Manitoba supporter must be related as one of the following:
- Sibling
- Parent (mother or father)
- Aunt or uncle
- Niece or nephew
- First cousin
- Grandparent
Additional Points:
- A Manitoba supporter can assist more than one skilled worker if they can prove the ability to provide adequate support.
- Candidates must submit documents verifying their family relationship and the supporter’s residence history in Manitoba.
- If unable to meet these conditions, candidates are advised to consider declining the LAA.
- A settlement plan and proof of the Manitoba supporter’s residency duration are mandatory as part of the application.

Skilled Worker Stream
The Skilled Worker Streams draw targeted candidates who were selected through specific strategic recruitment initiatives.

- 14 candidates were invited under the Skilled Worker stream in Manitoba or the Skilled Worker Overseas stream.
- All invited candidates had declared that they were selected through a Manitoba strategic recruitment initiative.
- The minimum score required for selection was 712.
