Accepted Family Relationships:
To qualify as a close relative, the Manitoba supporter must be related as one of the following:
- Sibling
- Parent (mother or father)
- Aunt or uncle
- Niece or nephew
- First cousin
- Grandparent
Additional Points:
- A Manitoba supporter can assist more than one skilled worker if they can prove the ability to provide adequate support.
- Candidates must submit documents verifying their family relationship and the supporter鈥檚 residence history in Manitoba.
- If unable to meet these conditions, candidates are advised to consider declining the LAA.
- A settlement plan and proof of the Manitoba supporter鈥檚 residency duration are mandatory as part of the application.

Skilled Worker Stream
