IRCC Conducts Major Express Entry Draw Inviting 4,500 French-Speaking Candidates

Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted another big Express Entry draw, issuing 4,500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates under the French Language Proficiency category.
To qualify for this Franchophone Express Entry draw, candidates needed to have
- A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 432
- Their Express Entry profile must have been created before 7:07 pm (UTC) on June 13, 2025
This is the largest Express Entry draw since September 4, when a similar French language round invited 4,500 candidates. So far in 2025, francophone Express Entry draws have been dominating the economic immigration with a record-breaking 7,500 ITAs shared on the March 21 draw.
So far in 2025, about 30,000 French-speaking candidates have received ITAs, which is the highest among all the Express Entry categories, and now, with IRCC's francophone immigration targets outside Quebec set to increase in 2026, we can expect more French-language draws in the near future.
