Canada IEC 2025 Season Closing Soon; Apply for Work Permits by Oct 20

IRCC Canada, in its latest update, confirmed that the final round of invitations for the 2025 International Experience Class (IEC) will be held during the week of October 20. Applicants who wish to participate in the IEC program 2025 must submit their profiles before 9:00 am ET on October 20.
Those who receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) before the deadline, or have already begun their work permit process, can still finalise and submit their applications even after the season closes.
The IEC program offers young individuals from eligible countries the opportunity to gain Canadian work experience. After receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA), candidates have 10 days to accept or decline the offer, followed by a 20-day window to submit their complete work permit application online.
In case your invitation expires without a response, applicants must resubmit their IEC profile to stay eligible.
In case you're not yet invited, there's a chance as though some pools are nearing capacity, but others remain open until the end of the season. Candidates are encouraged to keep their profiles active and up to date for the best chances of receiving an ITA.
Once the season officially ends, IEC candidates will pause for at least two weeks after the October intake, before reopening for the next intake. If the new intake begins, the candidates will have 60 days to complete their new profiles and reapply
