The Alberta Opportunity Stream was the largest, with 891 invitations, reflecting both its popularity and the size of its nomination allocation. This stream receives the highest number of expressions of interest, with nearly 42,000 candidates in the pool.
AAIP Streams and Priority Sectors
From the start of 2025, Alberta has been sending invitations under the Express Entry stream for occupations in sectors such as construction, agriculture, aviation, and health care. Additionally, the AAIP operates three specialized routes:
