Highlights:
- IRCC holds its 7th draw.
- Candidates invited: 7,000
- Minimum CRS score: 490
The IRCC held its 7th draw yesterday. This was this year’s third all-program draw after January 18. Previously this year, only two all-program draws had taken place, respectively, on January 11 and 18. Both of these draws invited 5,500 candidates each, respectively.
This time, IRCC has issued 7,000 invites, making it the largest draw of the year. This draw broke down a continuous pattern of program-specific draws. After the all-program draw of January 18, all the draws were program-specific, with three PNP-specific draws and one draw targeted to the Federal Skilled Workers Program.
In the most recent Express Entry draw, only the candidates from the provincial nomination programs were targeted, and only 667 ITAs were sent on March 1. In the year 2022, all the Express Entry draws between July and November were all all-program draws and invited over 1,000 candidates every time, which grew as the minimum CRS score decreased.
What is an All-Program Draw?
All-program draws are the draws that consider all the application streams under the Express Entry pool. These application streams include the Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP), the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
